frontend/: Next.js UI and server routes. See frontend setup.migrations/ and tests/: database migrations and existing checks.main.py, routers/, batch_process.py and supporting Python modules: retained legacy API/worker. Some deployments may still depend on these; removal requires deployment verification.legacy_shared/: request models and profile parsing retained for the Python API/worker after retiring the Streamlit UI.The Go API/worker is currently maintained in a separate repository, OpenmartAI/gopenmart-whatnot. Repository consolidation and the remote rename to openmart-whatnot are pending; this document does not imply they have happened.
Use Node.js 24 and run commands from frontend/:
npm ci
cp env.local.example .env.local
# Fill in the project configuration in .env.local.
npm run dev
Development defaults the Go API to http://localhost:8080. Production builds require an explicit HTTPS NEXT_PUBLIC_GO_API_URL; the intended production API is https://whatnot-api.openmart.com.
cd frontend
npm run lint
npm run typecheck
npm test
npm audit
npm run build
Build requires the variables documented in frontend/env.local.example. CI uses nonfunctional fixture keys to check compilation without accessing production. Passing CI does not prove live authentication, database access, JFrog acceptance or production deployment health.
The retired Streamlit pages and iframe entry point have been removed. The Python dependency manifests still include Streamlit because retained Python helpers use its logging/UI functions and caching; removing those dependencies is a separate backend cleanup.
